Does ANYONE here know how to hook up a motherfucking cell phone to a computer?

I'm TRYING to send some pics to my lawyer from the cell phone and they REFUSE to send!!! We need them by tomorrow morning!! I need a way to get them from the fucking phone to the computer so I can copy the pics from this fucking piece of shit phone to the computer!!! I REFUSE to believe there's NO FUCKING WAY to hook up a phone to a computer!!!

Thanks loads to all for your help and suggestions, my best friend, Kelly, came through having me text them to her. Once I discovered that option, I texted them to the lawyer, too! He got `em!!

You can email from your phone. If you want to connect it to your computer, you need a USB cable or Blue Tooth. Then you need to give permission to transfer files. By default, a USB cable might only charge the battery, but not allow file transfers. It depends on your phone, but it should be in your settings somewhere.

On my phone, it's in a stupid place. Permission for USB file transfer is under the Blue Tooth settings, even though it's not Blue Tooth. On top of that, those settings are not saved. It needs to be done every time I connect the phone.

Whether you use Blue Tooth or USB, you need to give it permission to transfer files. Without that permission, the computer won't even see your files.

So far, it doesn't even see the phone! I plugged it in, I looked at the directory, nothing showed up for the phone.

That sounds like the same thing my phone did. If I don't give it permission every time I connect to the computer it doesn't even see the phone. It defaults to charge only mode.

Does your phone charge when you plug it into the computer?

Also, are you SURE you are using the right cable? There are some connectors that look almost exactly alike but they are not compatible. They are so close to being alike that it might even charge the phone, but not be able to transfer data.

No, I've tried that, too. It'll only charge by plugging it into the wall.
The one I charge with is the one that came with it. There's a few other USB's around here and they WILL charge both of the tablets when hooked up to the computer, but not the phone!

Can you text them to your attorney, rather than using your phone's email? I'm not trying to be dense, but I didn't notice anything about a text message, just email.

What format are the pics in?

Here's my thought. I have a TLC phone and I have to change the settings on my phone from "charging" to "transferring files" (manually) when I use a cable plugged into the USB ports.

When I plug the cable in, it shows Tap for Options in my notifications.

There are three, Charge the Device, Transfer Files, Transfer Photos

Select the preferred option.

I don't know if that will work, but I'm just checking to see what's been done so far.

The model number should be behind the coverplate that covers the battery. Turn the phone off. Gently loosen the edges (a fingernail, a thin dull knife or credit card should work). and pop the coverplate off the back. If you don't see the model number, it's probably underneath the battery, so gently pop the battery out and get the model number of the sticker.

I don't know. I don't have his number. I just tried to do that with a friend of mine almost 2 hours ago and still haven't heard back from her.
I'm almost brand new to cell phones so, mostly all I can do is make calls. It won't even let me accept phone calls!
I have no idea. I just took them with the phone at 7:00. I've been trying to get them OFF the phone, ever since!!
This one doesn't show any "tap" messages.

My best friend suggested I try to text them to her so, I tried that and it apparently worked because she sent them back to me and my lawyer (but not `til this morning) and I tried to do the same to him right after I did her and, apparently, he got them that way. He showed me the print-outs today.
I don't remember how I did it but, a year ago, I was trying to get Woodstock recordings from the phone to the computer.
Now, if I can just figure out how to accept phone calls! It works perfectly fine if I'm sitting right next to the person that's calling me but, it won't work at any other time. I just have to wait `til they leave a message and then I can call them back,.

As you well know, I find that the F bomb gets one's point across quite succinctly.

I am not familiar with the motherfucking brand. But an easy way is to email the pics to yourself and access your email on the computer. There are other ways but that will be brand specific and the motherfucking branded phone will be diff.

You could email directly to the lawyer. Typically you share the pic and sharing by SMS or email will be options. If you haven't installed an email client you'll need to do that.

Just plug it into USB with the charging cable.

If this doesn't work you can do some trickery with sending them via email to yourself or logging into the browser version of whatsapp and co and also sending them to yourself.

With googlemail its enough to upload the photos and save the save the email, you don't even need to send it.

The charging cord has an electric plug on the other end I have several USB cables here that I've tried over the past year and none will do what is needed.
I tried that trickery several times. It doesn't work.
It doesn't appear to have whatsap.
I've never used gmail.

Sorry I seen the question late but one thing I do if you need pictures from your cell phone and put them on computer it's a little extra work but it works I email the pictures from my phone to myself then log into your email on your computer and you can download the picture from there therefore it's on your computer at that point and you can send it from your computer

Install the Telegram app on your phone.
Install Telegram for Windows on your PC.
Save the pictures on the Telegram app‘s shared folder.
They will automatically appear in the shared folder on the PC.

I'm pretty sure I did that. It didn't tell me anything I wanted to know. I've had several people ask me to message them on Telegram, I asked THEM what telegram is, I got no response!
I have the manual, now so, I SHOULD be able to resolve issues as they arise.

If you have an Android phone and a Google account, upload the photos to Google Photos, then download them from Photos on the PC, where you can then email them. I'm sure Apple has a similar cloud photos area to do the same thing.

You can use a USB cable. Hook it up and it will let you browse your computers hard drive. Then you just copy the files you need to your computer. DM me with questions.

@DryGermanGuy I have used this on maybe 6 or 7 different phones and lots of different PCs and never had a problem with drivers. USB devices are pretty foolproof.

Every USB device manufacturer treats the official protocols differently, for example with regard to power usage (granted, not a problem with phones). My results with phone connectivity were mixed. After a certain iPhone update back in the day I suddenly lost the compatibility to Windows XP. Some phones only connected via cable, others only via Bluetooth.

It depends on the phone and computer. You need a cord that can plug into your phone with a USB connector on thr other end fir your computer. Then check external hardware on your computer and open the phone's folder.

Pmsl did actually check them all just to see if it's popping up in one of them drives and maybe you got some settings or a security program stopping it coming up. Check to see if you have Bluetooth on there that would make it easier..

I expect that but, that doesn't happen. I can only guess that she got it 5 or 6 years ago. She had a flip top that you couldn't even hear with even if you had the phone smooshing your ear!! I have No idea where that one went (not that I want it for anything) but, as soon as she died, it vanished!!
