Until February of this year, I used a 1994 Nokia model 1011. I had to surrender it, still in good working condition only because the 2G network was decommissioned.

Otherwise, I would still be using it nowadays. I am not the type of person that needs to have the latest model. I got it second hand from my mother in 2013 and have had it ever since.

I thought 2G would stay as the backbone for phone service only? Here the providers decommissioned 3G, as data service is on 4G/5G only now.
