Has anyone else been temporarily banned on Reddit and then permanently for seemingly no reason?

I was sent a notification last night stating that I had received a 3-day ban for "discrimination and hate". A little over 2 hours later, I received yet another notification stating that I was permanently banned from Reddit.

Not much of a reason was given to me, but I kind of guessed it was based on my last publication in the /r France sub-Reddit.

Title was : "Les Toulousains, vous êtes des chacals au volant"

Loosely translates to "People from Toulouse, you are idiots behind the wheel".

I was mainly venting because I crossed paths with 12 road ragers during a 10 min drive.

Yeah I’ve been permanently banned on certain platforms because I’m on other platforms and I never say anything bad on any of them, nothing that would upset anyone but they have weird rules on there

I don't use Reddit (I don't like their GUI), but I have heard quite a few times that their user management and policies are a fucking monkey show.

No, I absolutely haven't been trolling on Reddit. I was pissed off after coming back from work because I crossed dozens of inconsiderate drivers.

That's very long for one word but French can be like that sometimes lol. Thats not "idiot" though. If french is not your 1st language maybe you accidently used a worse insult than you meant to, and that could be what triggered the ban?
