Earlier afternoon I had some relatives over for Christmas coffee time at the house and we were talking about that nowadays is so easy to control a person just for using a credit /debit card. Every personal or private info on a person now is accesible at the hands of just passing a credit card to pay for something as using fake money your private data is somethign easy to track vrs using cash where you dont leave a trace.
So this cousin was telling us that he is aware that for certain money transactions you have to pay with a card there is no choice but if he would have a choice, he will pay everything in cash if possible (taxis, buses, clothes, shoes, groceries among other stuff.)
Then I ask my self if it is better to use cash in order for my personal info not be in the hands of hackers, people with bad intentions, etc I mean carrying big amounts of cash with you is also risky cause you get robbed and there it goes all of the cash you are carrying just beacuse you dont like to use the card. Also this relative was telling me I dont know if that is true, some business or many people are going back to use cash to pay for things. They dotn want to risk their personal data out there.
How do u prevent your personal and private info get stored or that people know everything about you and still using your card?

I prefer cash. I think as time goes on here in the states the gov’t is tightening its control more each day. Eventually they’re going to be able to shut everyone down financially if they want to. What’s not to say if your boyfriend or an ex reported you to the police as someone hostile or that was treating to do something bad when you weren’t, but ended up cutting off your bank account access. I don’t like the idea of a cashless society. Even if someone robbed me of a few hundred dollars that’s nothing compared to the damage someone could do w all your info if they hacked your entire life.
Just pick the safest bank. Personally i use cash for small transactions and debit for bigger transactions. And connect all my cards to my phone, so i get notifications for every transaction on it.
Is not the point of notifications about your transactions is about technology knowing everything about you just by using a credit card
It’s back to the first sentence.
