Card for me.
Do you pay with card or cash?
Card for me.
I try to use cash for most things except gas because the stations where I live all all prepay or card only and I don't like guessing what will fill me up. When I get paid I take it all but like $100 out and use that will be for gas over the next couple weeks and keep the rest in a small safe at home so if my account gets compromised by scammers or I lose my card or something I won't be able to lose much. I live in an isolated town of 200 people where there is no crime whatsoever but for hella good measure I pulled up the rug in one corner of my room, cut a hole in the floor, built a trap door and set it in that and laid the rug back over it. Off subject but I did the same thing with a bigger opening on the other side of the house where there is more clearance under the floor as a hiding spot as kind of an apocalypse preparation idea. Only difference is I cut the rug down the doors sides and stapled it to it so when I pull it up it opens the door with it and covers when I close it. It's pretty sick. I got that idea from my grandmas old house she lived in years ago when I was a kid. Her basement door was built into the floor like that
When shopping or dining, we try to use cash as much as possible. Quite a few of my wife's clients pay her with cash, so she uses that to make purchases, rather than depositing it in the bank.
There's a real impending danger of a digital currency/cashless society. If that happens, every single purchase from garage sales to groceries will be tracked and the way we spend our money will be restricted. Our money will also be able to be automatically seized without our notification or consent, and without an ability to appeal.
So it's important to resist.
What work does she do?
It varies; I use both, though I prefer paying in cash if possible.
I typically carry cash on me at all times (my parents always taught me to carry cash on me in case of emergencies), so if it's something cheap I can afford- such as a burger, a few things at the grocery store, a drink... I pay in cash.
If I know I'm going out to the store, shopping, or plan on buying something that will cost more than the cash I have on me? Card. For example, when I know I'm making groceries for the week, I'll use my card.
The last time I had cash was 2 years ago. Nearly every store in our area back then had signs up stating there was a money shortage, so making change would be difficult, so please pay with card and of course with the pandemic nearly everything was bought online, so I kid you not, last week was the first time in 2 years I've actually withdrawn cash to use.

I always use card unless somewhere requires cash. I should use cash more often especially in front of my childern. I have the fear that they'll never learn the true value of a dollar since we never use real money
Digital wallet for bills, cash for online shopping payment or grocery. I rarely used cards. I just don't like having so many bills. Also i don't like using debit card because my savings are savings and it's going to mess up with my accounting. I only use cards for emergency or if it's really required.
Unless it's a large purchase, I usually pay with cash. It's less hassle for both me and the customers in-line behind me. Plus, I don't like paying stupid bank fees when the charge is put through a third party card reader, so there's that too.
These days it feels as if cash is just a PITA for the cashiers. It's so much quicker to just tap a card and go. Except in a poker room, where it's all cash.
Probably equal
Business involves cash for the most part and small stuff is generally cash
cards are great online mainly via the medium of PayPal
Costa prefer cards as do Waitrose so I tend to card those
Normally cash where I can although with the Rona lots of places near me stopped talking cash so had to start using the card.
Why cash?
I find it easier to keep track of, and I tend to take cash in with my work so generally have it to get rid of. Going out and using the card and you come back home and are dhockked at the amount you spent because it's so easy to just tap. I don't know after this pandemic maybe I will use card more as it is easier and safer but then I'd have to pay the cash into the bank and we have less and less of them around my way now.
Nice try NSA but we both know you know. Verify your own work.
Apple pay or riot, taking out a card is becoming old news.
I use the that cute Apple leather card wallet that attaches to the back of the iPhone in-case it's needed though.
AE for everything. It's just easier as I travel a lot. Some places don't accept it so I tend to carry catch by 98% of the time AE
Aside from food, almost everything I spend money on is a business expense, so it goes on my card for tracking purposes.
I either use debit card or cash, if the card you referred to was debit card Miss, then I use card more but if you meant credit card then I use cash more.
debit. i dont carry cash anymore and it would be nice if no one did so armed robbers find it more trouble than it's worth to bug people.
I hardly carry cash with me anymore. I'd pay with my debit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo or Zelle.
Card mostly but there are still tons of stores here that don't accept one, so I always have cash handy.
Card for higher amounts and cash for smaller amounts
I still like to have cash on me for the smaller purchases.
Card is just easier to keep on you. And if it gets stolen you can more likely actually get the money back.
Lol it’s so much more convenient with card 🤷♀️🤷♀️
Card when I'm paying bills.
Cash when shopping in person recently.
Mostly cash but use a credit card for big purchases, I haven't been buying much since th epandemic.
Why cash
Why not?
What is a check in cvs?
We hardly use cheques in the UK or Europe. I never ever used or seen one.
