Funny i have a $2k gaming computer but i rarely game on it. I mostly use it for watching and investing in stock markets and have dual monitors set up and it's great for that. But if i do fire up a game sometimes it does look beautiful and can play ultra setting 60-80 fps at 1440p easily.

PC gaming, I have a 3rd party controller. But if you like playing a lot of games that require it then get the official Xbox branded controller. I'm more of an RPG and strategy gamer myself. The action games I play are like Hades or something.

It's a toss-up. The official control is expensive, but 3rd party controllers can be problematic. Have you ever heard of 8bitdo? They make an Xbox controller.

I think that's true for most things in life, if you use something every week or daily, get the nicest version you can afford. You'll be better off for it. But if it's once a month or every year, then it doesn't matter that much.

Xbox clouding game doesn't require a system worth hundreds of dollars. You also don't pay per game. I paid $50 for 3 months.

PC gaming for both myself and my wife. We use official Xbox controllers - we had a set of 4 we bought off Amazon from a reputable seller and although they worked, they had some issues but still lasted 6 or so years.

We've recently been gifting each other controllers for our anniversary from the lab and they look and feel great.
