Both, mostly xbox because of specific titles not found on psn (many of which are the backward compatible 360 games, but not all), and also because I prefer pvp (mainly fighting games) and you can't cheat on the xb1. I used to prefer playstation, but things like spyro and crash and toukiden found their way to other platforms.
Not interested in adding people on either platform though unless they are female, I'm drowning in male friends on those platforms already, and most of what I play has a 2-4 player limit.
First of all! PC is the GOD, then rest comes after, sour fact. If we are talking about PS5 and Series X! Xbox for me, more powerful, softer performance and the hand controller is one of the greatest invention of the gaming history (after mouse and keyboard of course) I have ps2, ps3, ps4 and ps5, first xbox, xbox 360 and Series X and did a lot of comparisons, numbers don't lie but still! I would buy a powerful PC instead or built one (like i did).
I used to, don't have that kind of time anymore :(
As someone who has both kickass gaming pc and most consoles as well, ps2 is still god tier for me.
It had more of the genres I liked, more of the series I liked, and more of the subject matter that I liked.
It had more games that were difficult, the games weren't buggy, and were complete upon release.
It allowed cheat codes and gameshark, but because its local for pvp, it wouldn't make pvp unfair because your friend is using the same copy of the game and the same ps2 to play with you.
Screen tearing and texture pop weren't a thing, framerate issues weren't either because variable framerate didn't exist.
Loading screens were short, and because graphical detail was limited, you saw a lot more stylized art variations and brighter colors instead of boring realism and browns and grays everywhere.
You didn't need to install, patch, update, or otherwise download anything to play, and because no downloads existed for it, you didn't have system accounts, which meant I could copy my save data offline as many times as I wanted on as many memory cards as I wanted.
And lastly, I didn't have to risk malware or breaking something to do any of that.
There is also that I prefer controllers over keyboard and mouse (unless it's an rts or card and board game, but I don't play those much), This is do to the hand position for keyboard and mouse being really uncomfortable after a few seconds, whereas controllers I can use for 24 hours strait with no issues.
Then you have that lighting and shadows in modern games is really hard on the eyes, I don't want super dark environments or glare from the sun in a game.
it also never overheated, crashed, or crashed the games, and I didn't have to mess around with settings to get the most out of it.
That's a tough one!!! I'm one of those people who can't make a decision and ended up getting both. YES! I have an Xbox and a Playstation. AND!!! A nintendo swtitch
I sure do!!!
Sure!!! I'll message u my gamertag.
Play station. Because Sony. And more available cool games.

PC. There's literally no reason to own a console (other than Nintendo) anymore after 2012. And this is coming from a lifelong console gamer who was too afraid to build a PC for years. Eventually, I compromised and bought a gaming laptop for $700, because even the Xbox One and PS4 were kinda shitty. I'm not buying an entire console just to play Spider-Man.
The Nintendo Switch COULD be good, but its hardware is hot garbage and I'm waiting for the "Switch Pro" before I buy one. The PS5 has been a disaster launching and nobody even thinks about the Xbox Series-whatever BS. Xbox used to dominate with the 360 and I freaking LOVE that console! But then they drove themselves off a cliff and became the new SEGA. The only downsides to PC is not having physical hardware (discs), but besides that, it's been superior in everyway. Including none of that BS of paying to play on the internet.
So yeah, after spending most of my life jumping from Nintendo, to PlayStation, to Xbox 360, they finally made me a PC gamer.
(I hate that the site suggested this question to me five days late; I'm only just now getting offered it.)
Building your own PC is pretty damn intimidating and requires hardware knowledge most of us don't have time to learn on our own, myself included. So the next best thing is to just buy a pre-made gaming PC for around $600-800. At least you won't be paying to play on the internet and it'll likely outlast the six-year-long gaming console lifespan.
I game Xbox because, hate me for saying it, the Series X has many better aspects than the Playstation 5. More available RAM, more apps, lots of capabilities, never dips below 60fps on 4k, better storage space, a better SSD, simplistic design, easy, customizable menu, even Disney+ and Spotify.
Ayo thanks dude ^-^
PC
Because why support this console crap?
They are PCs, just running custom software to cause monopoly, in favor of the company.
Not to mention all the shit Sony did with PS over the years, just to f you over.
Exclusivity is bad for every gamer.
Tiny pc with "locked" settings, in game, would be good, also with locked spects. Would be a console like experience. Also less bugs and faster development times. Etc etc.
I personally game PlayStation mostly cause the games feel made for gamers. And not just to be fake competitive psudo PC (Xbox) gamers who are too poor to get a PC that can do just about everything a Xbox can.
I have both but I don't play them. I bought them to bond with ex-boyfriends when they came over to my place xD
Unfortunately, PS3 AND Xbox 360 were the last consoles that me and my brother used. (before exclusively using PC) But back then, For one, PS3 didn't need any form of subscription to play online.
PlayStation. I like the exclusives on it better and I never hear of people having issues with them. Red ring of death anyone?
*cough* *cough*
Nintendo
These consoles have a lot of the same games. I don't think it really matters unless you specifically want to play a game which is exclusive to either console.
I think PlayStation is probably more convenient to own though because most of the Xbox games are also playable on Microsoft PCs as long as they have the graphics capabilities and CPU speed.
After announcing their closure of the ps3 psp and vita stores im more on team xbox now. although i still don't own an xbox one or a series x. Their focus on backwards compatibility is very appealing and if they keep doing more of that i may just go for it and get one of those.
Xbox as there more games for them and I love Microsoft over Sony
my last PlayStation was PS2 I've never played since got the Xbox From my teacher then got the Xbox 360 now the Xbox one a few Christmas ago I want the Series X but I don't know where to put it
I've seen that PlayStation has more racing and sports games where the Xbox is shooters
but if I could choose I would Nintendo as the switch is better then both
I have both. Xbox is better in almost anything but the fact playstation has some great exclusives but so does the Xbox. If all games just existed on Xbox would only ever buy that.
What kind of option is this? "I don't game at all", if you don't use a Console, but PC. Yeah, no.
I'm not big on gaming, but I'm an xbox guy when I do. I tried the PS5 and as cool as that controller is, the ergonomics of the thing make it unusable for me.
D
P. C.
Waaaaay more versatile and waaaaay more headroom for upgrades.
PlayStation because of its overall better performance, it has more storage options, and better games
you forgot exclusives.
I own a playstation but I hardly ever use it
I mainly just game on my compute because it's easier
Ps for kingdom hearts before it was cross platform, and xbox for halo and kotor.
I prefer nintendo because it's more family friendly.
Where's the pc option? 😂
I play Xbox
I play Playstation
I don't play at all
My brain: This is not the way
I like both but I prefer xbox. I've just always had one.
I have a playstation but its trash and I hate it, planning on building a gaming pc
Yeah dude but consoles are huge disadvantage when it comes to competitive games
PC and rarely these days. A lot of games just dont appeal to me anymore.
Playstation, mainly cause I do PC too and I can get the Playstation exclusives, whereas I can play the Xbox ones on my computer
I once had both. And there are pros and cons to both.
So it’s hard to say
I have a ps but i prefer pc lmao they're just more flexible than consoles i believe
PlayStation. PS1, PS2 and PSP were good. But it went downhill on the PS3 era. XBox never appealed to me.
Pc since pc has far far more games then either console and i get xbox games to
Pc master race, kiddo.
How’s Spider-Man on PC? Oh wait...
I prefer PlayStation because of the exclusives but Game Pass is miles better than PS Now
I’m a current XBOX user, but after Microsoft’s recent bullshit, when the next generation comes out, I’m switching to PlayStation. I’m over their bullshit.
Backwards compatibility from XBOX makes them the best choice for me.
I have both and love playstation exclusives but I dig xbox overall
PlayStation because I own it and u peasants can’t even get one because it’s out of stock for you mwahahha
But... but do you have it 4K hdr 120 hz tv?
I have always preferred PS.
Spider-Man.
@MagaliPovee for a small fee I will join!
Neither. Computer games are the best.
PS... cause Xbox is just PS “B”.
I think PlayStation is the best
Nintendo, but also PlayStation.
Not Xbox.
PlayStation and Xbox are = in my 👁
Playstation best exclusive
No Nintendo? Smh
Xbox for the Flight Simulator
You play Apex or Minecraft?
I like all of them!
I game on a PC.
I used to
Nintendo.
