First of all no one uses Facebook. But I hoped on it to use Facebook Marketplace. I noticed that the average person I know has a few hundred friends. Which is normal.
Then I see people who have over 1000 firends added, maybe even 2000+
Then I see people who many have 100 people on their list.
Personally, I think people with a 100 people seem the most realistic to me with real friends and contacts since facebook is so old.
Then come the people with a few hundred friends and it make sense if they have everyone from their life added (highschool, college, work/other groups)
Then i see the 2000+ and I wonder if these people just add everyone they ever meet on social media? I don't think anyone is in touch with those many people. Or they may have a secret only fans or something.
Have you ever given it thought?

I could have up to 4,000 friends if I added every one from elementary school and middle school and high school and university and church and poetry clubs and parties and community centres and coffee shops and libraries together, but I hate publicity and just want enough friends to not look like a total reject that people hate.
As a Christian who shares the bible with people, I always have enemies that want to ruin my name and public reputation because they are threatened by my moral teachings.
