When will AI become proficient enough to code without needing a background in coding?

GPT4 Omni, o4-mini, and GPT 4.5 are a huge difference over GPT 3.5, GPT 4, o3-mini, and even o1 (GPT 4o-Mini just waters down from GPT 4 Omni), but even it has its flaws so you'd still need to either be good at full stack development like me or completed a formal education for computer science. I think maybe once GPT5 or GPT6 comes out is when those pre-requisites won't be necessary for simpler and moderately complex tasks, as GPT 4 and GPT 4 Omni can let anyone code basic stuff and moderately complex tasks.

However for truly complex tasks like developing a video game or coding an AI model by scratch would still be impossible until maybe GPT 6 or GPT 7 comes out I don't know... and that's just for more simpler variants of those like indie games and AI models that can be run locally on a potato. I wouldn't be surprised at all for a massive open world game and AI models that can be run locally but on flagship PC (or even HEDT) to be developed purely by AI, we'd have to wait until GPT 8 or GPT 9.
