Why would you get an A? Are you skint?
Just get an S series. The FE is cheaper. I pay for mine outright. And they're usually like £500. Will last me probably 5 or 6 years or even longer since I'm not fussed about having the latest model.
I would expect the A series to have less processing in general. I've had an S10 and and S something FE and they've never slowed down after years of using them.

  I was always able to speak as fast as I want during a call.
  And if someone is dull enough to only use it as an entertainment machine, then a little slowing down is rather a plus.

No. They are decent, the difference in most Samsung models is usually just the screen, camera quality, and software. The processors tend to be the same,.
