People 'you may want to block' on Instagram? Who exactly are these people?

So this feature I found only a couple of weeks ago and the people who are in this list, I have known them but haven't interacted with them in my personal life nor do they have caused me any inconvenience. So what is the purpose of this list? What does it tell?

I deactivated my Instagram a long time ago. 'You may want to block ' sounds like Insta trying to tell you these users are spammers, scammers or post offensive/inappropriate comments or sends people messages like that. Just like Truecaller list. 😅

I would only block people who get pushy, disrespectful or obnoxious. So far, this only happened once. So yes, there's a reason for this option.
