Is social media getting boring, and what does its future look like?

Maybe it's my age, or maybe it's that after 10 years it just kind of gets boring like any other hobby that you are not intense about. I was coming to this site more than any social media before the AI bullshit started editing our questions. But I don't know, what's everyone's thoughts? What's the future of Instagram, Facebook, tick, tock, etc?

As social media ever been anything else but boring? I hope that in the future, there is no longer social media and that people live a real life and not just one in binary code.

Perhaps that having a normal life would increase the IQ and writing style of all those social media addicts. I personally see only negative aspects in social media and there is not one single positive aspect I could come up with.

Are people really interested in being intelligent or are they satisfied in being ignorant and mediocre? That is what social media is all about.

I gave up social media 8 years ago other then G@G which I am on now and have only been for a few days while my online course has been slow and uninteresting.
