What is the best car you’ve ever driven and how did it feel?

Best is a really subjective label. The most fun car I've ever owned was a 2008 Honda S2000 AP2V3. It was small and light with a really unique engine and one of the best manual transmissions ever made. It also used a high X bone monocoque chassis that Honda took from their formula one racing experience. It used a 4 wheel compact double wishbone suspension that fit inside the wheels. It was super fun to drive but noisy as hell because they made it as light as they could and sound deadening material was not a priority.

But it was bulletproof and a pleasure to own.

I've also owned 3 Corvettes and 2 AMG's but the S2000 was the one I enjoyed most. Not the fastest. Not the best looking. But if you wanted to teach teach someone advanced driving techniques like trailing throttle oversteer, trail braking, power oversteer, and holding a line through a corner, this is the car I'd choose. It was pretty close to a race car chassis for the street with Honda reliability.

I had an Intentional Scout. 8 cylinder, 4 speed manual transmission, 4 wheel drive, locking axles. dual exhaust. There used to be a hill climb at a sand pit near my house. A lot of vehicles tried to climb it aby my would not make it. If you ran out of forward momentum you had to hit reverse and go down the hill backwards. If you tried to turn around you would roll it.

I used to do this a lot and never failed.

This vehicle was a blast to drive.

It's the one I'm driving now a Ford Explorer. Love the smooth quiet ride and has all the bells and whistles one would want. Large enough for our family of 6 should all of us be together which is rare.

My wife and I rented a BMW convertible and took it for a drive on The Tail of the Dragon in North Carolina and Tennessee. The road (US 129) is an 11-mile (18 km) winding 2-lane road with 318 sharp curves that winds through the Appalachian mountains. Many of the curves are named, including Copperhead Corner, Hog Pen Bend, Wheelie Hell, Shade Tree Corner, Mud Corner, Sunset Corner, Gravity Cavity, Beginner's End, and Brake or Bust Bend.

My wife and I took turns driving the BMW. What a fun ride that was.

Tesla has been the best car I have ever owned, hands down, and I have a new Plaid that is really an electro/mechanical marvel and is Full Self Drive. I like the fact that Tesla down not obsolete the car every year by changing the body design to something different. Car and Drive just did an idiot piece about Tesla not changing the body style like every other vehicle manufacturer that likes to obsolete the previous model, so the buyer want so to stay with the latest 'trend'

My ‘23 Corvette… The shifts are so fast and smooth, super fun to take on winding back roads… it’s weighty but handles well, and I love opening up the valves and hearing it downshift rolling through the local downtown areas. The interior is phenomenal too... It’s almost time!

The best car I have driven was a Nissan Versa. I fit in it well, it's comfortable, has good visibility, good air conditioning, good fuel mileage, etc.

It was better than a two models of Camaros I drove, an older model Corvette, Dodge Durango, Nissan Sentra, Jeep Cherokee, Buick Le Sabre, and others I have drove.

Being driven however would be the Bentley Mulsanne, my friend in exotic rentals bought on my recommendation as it was a great deal

I have driven a Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing. Despite how special the car is, I was not impressed because the owner didn't let me take it onto a public road. I drove it in the backyard of his garage and didn't exceed 20 km per hour.
