What has been your favorite car to drive?

For me, it's the Toyota Prius. Good on gas. Eco friendly and reliable. I miss it sometimes. It was my first car.

I had a 2 Subaru Imprezza wagons that were fabulous road holding cars, also a Lancia Thema turbo which was fast af, the Mitsubishi's I have owned were a Galant and Outlander and they were comfortable and smooth and the Vauxhall's (Carlton, Vectra and Chevette) were all cheap and cheerful but the most fun were the Ferret Scout cars and Land Rover's I drove in the Army. V6 Rolls Royce Engines that sounded fantastic and no windshield so the full air flow as you scooted down the roads was amazing. Permanent four wheel drive and an awesome 7.62mm machine gun above your head dropping hot brass down your shirt and into your seat while driving was hilarious. Managed to shoot my own radio antenna off the car in one exchange so that was amusing and showed a design flaw in the comms.

Most interesting aspect was the gear box. 4 speed semiautomatic selector with same in reverse that you DO NOT want to try even on a tank park. It's empty your bowels time at that effort because no mirrors or camera behind

I had an 86 Chevy K5 Blazer. 305 V8 , 4 speed manual transmission, 2 speed transfer case, manual locking hubs and a posi rear end. It was plenty big for all my stuff but still very maneuverable on the trail or in Home Depots parking g lot

Mine was my second car, a 1963 Buick LeSabre 2dr hard top with a 401 cu in engine. That car was super comfy and built like a battle ship. It was the most dependable car I ever owned.

But I also loved my souped up 1972 Chevy El Camino hot rod. I owned that for several years in my mid-20s.

Every car I've owned has been fun to drive. If it wasn't, I wouldn't have owned it. Perhaps my favorite was my 1990 Honda Civic hatchback. Manual stick transmission, got great mileage, a lot of pep. Small enough to fit through tight spaces yet big enough, with its hatch and fold-down rear seats, to carry lots of stuff. Only car I ever owned that could carry a 4×8 sheet of plywood.

Between the Maserati MC12 and the Alfa Romeo 8C. On the track they were fantastic! That being said, I am far more an off roader so in that regard, Toyota 4Runner.
