When humanoid domestic robots go mainstream, would you want one at home?

They'll never be mainstream for home usage, everything they can possibly do while remaining simple and safe can be done by many already existing appliances that are pretty much automated that perhaps take you a few mins of your time to get going.
Those few mins aren't worth a whole bot to do then sit there to do nothing and you've just wasted tons for nothing.
Unless you actually have a task it can do indefinitely that takes up hours upon hours in a day it's pointless to have.

Yes I talked to hubby and we works like a maid like that.
but we want one that can mown the lawn and plow the snow too. So have to read more about how to keep them clean from being outside in the dirt.
