Just like the IBM 5150 if it’s not broken don’t fix it & when it comes to technology sometime it’s the old technology that gets the job done or sometimes it’s just fun.

If those are your Commodore's stars to you bro the 64 was a fun system. I leaned on IBM’s & the 5150 was my first system.
They can’t afford new technology its too expensive for them
Likely it still works fine and suits their needs. Why spend money if you are happy with what you have?

Old technology still works, and in some ways, it's better than the latest technology. There's something nostalgic about playing Centipede and Missile Command on a vintage Atari 2600 console.
My second monitor, connected to my laptop, is a Dell RGB monitor that I've had for 20 years. Still works just fine, using an HDMI to RGB adapter connected to my laptop in my home office.
Because sometimes old school is still best. Example is Bluetooth is nice and convenient but no Bluetooth speaker will ever sound as good as an old school wired speaker. Another is my personal choice of defense weapons. I still rely on an M1A and a 1911 instead of an AR and Glock
Because it still works, and is often more stable and less hackable.
If something still works satisfactorily than why spend the money on a new one?
Some people just prefer it. As a Windows 11 user, I can relate.
