Have you noticed keyboards on screens have become more stupid?

I can't be the only one trying to type stuff and the keyboard just finds stupid things to mess up, there's a theory that it's done on purpose so you use the voice typing more often so it can collect data on your voice.

I have indeed noticed this dumb down on the keyboard, I know I'm not misspelling stuff, but the auto correct finds words that don't even go with the sentence I'm writing.

The last non stupid keyboard native on the phone was samsung s8 for me, i owned multiple newer samsung phones and their all native samsing keyboards screw it up. ㅤ

I don't think that keyboards have become more stupid but it is rather the users that have become less litterate since they don't know anymore how to spell and the proper use of grammar.

Those are the very same ones that will dictate a text and make 2 dozen mistakes in the same sentence. If those users don't realize that those big companies are collecting as much data on them and that despite that fact, they still use voice command, then there is not much that can be done to try to increase their IQ.

Youth nowadays are a lost case for society and not just with the improper use of grammar.

But I can feel your frustration with a keyboard that has a mind of it's own. That means that you are going to have to proofread everything you type because Lord knows what it'll type.🤯

Yea normal keyboards are fine, it the screen ones that seem to mess up on purpose, I don't understand 😂

My cellphone 📱 changes words that I don't want changed.

I remember telling my son "I DO LOVE YOU" and it changed it to "I DON'T LOVE YOU". 🙄

Yes I have noticed… they will fix the correct word to missed spell it.
I always reread and try my best to make sure it’s as well as possible before sending it.
I prefer calling vs texting.
