Yeah It's very worrisome. The unfortunate fact remains that too much capital is being tied up in the bank accounts of the overly privileged, so money is not circulating around enough, it would be an easy task to create work for a large percentage of these poor people in the recycling and waste resources sector. So they could have enough money to pay for temporary housing. It just takes a little bit of charity.
So, whereabouts in rural California are you based then? Take it that you're a considerable distance away from the coast, and that it gets fairly cold where you are. How would you feel about the proposed State of Jefferson?
Having relatives in CA, I knew all this already, but good job of putting all of this Information together.

It’s best to not get focused on Politics. It’s all rigged in favor of banks and to destroy White people and Religion. It’s a plot to turn us all into one race, with zero religion and culture. Essentially, the Agenda is to make everyone mindless robots, who are slaves of the banks.
I’d rather not be a slave to the banks unlike you. Oh and by “forward” do you mean change a Kleenex from Mansize to Personsize? Wow you Liberals truly are the heroes of our generation
What about them? That's not really an issue here. At least not where I live. Of course you'll see one every now and than, but they're not running all over the place.
Every place has everything... we have more “place” so we have more things. That can make it seem like an issue to deal with, but no more an issue here than anywhere else

Cool, I generally don't watch tv and assume everybody must live like that, I was very shocked to find out how large an issue homelessness was.
Yeah, it's getting bad
Do you think it's getting worse?
Yeah. Especially in the Bay Area

California sucks donkey nuggets.
One of my least favorite states. Its up there with New York and Texas
We have nice scenery and historic sites though
Yeah so does the rest of the country
Except for the MidWest
Completely disagree

North of Sacramento
I support it
But I don't think it'll happened
Trump's come out in support of it though. So, it might be less likely than building that wall, but you never know...
I like the take - I always thought California was big enough to include a lot of things and you prove it here
love your State!
I lived in June Lake one ski season... just up from Mammoth. It does indeed snow there!

Thanks Liberals.
You keep holding the country back and we will keep pushing it forward... how it’s always been
@Trippintfout don’t care what you’re saying it makes no sense to me. Your 45 get a life.

All I can think of is that stupid California travel ad

YOSEMITE... my favorite place I’ve ever gone. Any you MUST hike half dome. 10/10
I've never thought californians were friendly or hospitable. I've always thought quite the opposite, especially in LA.
I like California but not the fake Hollywood Beverly hills Hollywood
I like California, but I tend to get asked questions because I'm Canadian.
Also, many of us want to split the state:

All the other proposals are just a liberal attempt at gerrymandering for electoral votes.
Never happen...
We have some of the best diving and sailing.
As for mansions, it's indeed true we don't live in mansions, but the price of the house pictured in no. 4 could buy a mansion elsewhere.
This is fairly accurate based on everyone I know who has lived there. The major cities are better off known as "Quarantine Zones".
1. the name is not California it's now Commifornia.
Jesus fucking christ, I didn't think anyone cared enough about California to write an essay that no one will read about it.
3. Is only redeeming quality of any American state/city. there's a reason the only place in texas i'll visit is austin
What about feral dogs?
What about them?

In Secret History, Richard dreams about feral dogs wandering around his home town near San Jose.
Nah. I didn't see any.

This is very cool to read. Heartbreaking but cool at the same time.
