What is the best beach you've ever been to?

For me it's Ocean Isle Beach, NC or Charleston, SCMyrtle Beach is kinda ehh.

I liked Venice Beach in Los Angeles in terms of the boardwalk. The beach isn’t bad either, but to be honest, as crazy as it was to me to be able to walk into the ocean without it being frigid even in the hottest part of the summer, not dealing with the ache in my feet and having to submerge myself at the risk of cardiac arrest just to get used to the water... the warm SoCal water was comfortable, but there was no refreshment factor. Like in New England, it’ll be like 95 degrees, but the water is still like 55 lmao. So it’s like jumping into ice water, but in 95 degree heat, that’s a relief. I got in the water at Venice and I’m like “this doesn’t cool me off at all. I’m just as hot as before, and now all wet.” But I liked the whole vibe there.

I think my favorite is just a small one I used to go to as a kid, called Gunrock Beach.

It’s small and feels kind of secluded, at least compared to the major beach in the same town, and this one is locals only (as far as parking anywhere close to it). You’re just surrounded by a rocky coastline but still sandy beach, a sea wall behind you, and you’re amongst townies. Also, the water feels slightly warmer than the big beach, and it’s way less crowded. Lots of hermit crabs to check out too, haha. We have great native lobster, so some people dive for them there, a little offshore. It’s kind of in a cove, whereas the big beach is flush to the ocean. Just have a lot of good memories going there as a kid when my aunt lived there, and partying and getting into shenanigans there as a teenager once my family relocated there.

Flagler Beach 9 mi north of Daytona Beach Florida avenue who lives there and sometimes visit and relax through a quiet community looks like it's right off of Norman Rockwell painting from the '50s. The kids are all surfers and clean cut, polite, completely out of character with juveniles the rest of the world over.
All stores businesses and bars off five or six of my think close at 6:00 p. m. bar sheds is the lights off and it's completely dark by 7:00 p. m. you just literally the most quiet community I've ever been in except for the sounds of the waves on the surf ideal for taking some beers down to the shoreline just chilling watching sunset. Amazingly, you can't even hear the ruckus from Daytona Beach during spring break's time of year, even though it's only 9 mi away. I think the Atlantic ocean pretty much drowns or carries away all that noise.
On both beaches you can watch the sandpipers running back and forth between the waves as they run towards the water's edge to pick up Crustaceans from the sand underneath, and then turn around and run away from the wave as it chases them up the sand and then as the wave recedes again, they run chasing the wave back to the edge of the water line to eat more crustaceans out of the sand, were the small-shelled creatures burrow themselves into the granules just underneath the surface. It's just funny, watching the birds running back and forth being chased by the wave, and then chasing after the wave running back and forth to catch their meals.

I've been to many beaches in Spain and Portugal. The ones I liked the most were in Portugal, in the area of the Algarve. I'm unsure of the name of the one I liked the most, I believe it could be Praia da Rocha.
