What is the most Beautiful Beach you've ever been to?

Wow, hard to choose. But for scenery overall maybe Acadia National Park in Maine. Rugged, rocky, not easy to access. Cold water. Not your typical tropical Utopia. But beautiful in a different way.

A little strip of beach near where I grew up back home. The water was crystal clear and very salty so you felt like you were floating effortlessly. I miss it all the time.

Well, the water was most beautiful in Ocho Rio Jamaica. The turquoise water.

The beat sand was in Siesta Keys Florida. It is just like fine suagar.

Best pier was Santa Monica California.

Best, non sand beach was School House Beach, washington Island Wisconsin. Entire beach is smooth rocks.

Indeed. Crystal clear water, full of tropic fish, and quite intact corals.
I lived on a neighbouring Island, Langkawi, (equally beautiful) for a few years. The really good places seldom are found in the travelling prospects. You hear about them from locals only. And you of course need a friend who owns a boat, but has no clue how to 'drive' it :D

St Pete Beach, Florida, a long sandy beach on the Gulf Coast. Warm water and sunny much of the year. It's also not usually that crowded.

I think Western Australia beaches are the best. It is the Indian ocean there except for the southern most part which is on the great Southern ocean and that makes it wilder.

Great sand because a lot of it is 4 billion years old. There are remnants of the oldest continent Vaalbara.

The Indian ocean is beautifully placid and Westralia does vast expanses really well. Better than the Eastern side with Pacific ocean rollers. If you like surfing it is the inverse.

Incidentally fossilized bacteria were found in a 3.43 billion years old WA beach. You can't frolic there unfortunately because the beach sand turned into sandstone

It was one in Northern Ireland I got to on a windy autumn day that was sunny and warm in 1995 on my first visit there after starting a job a few months earlier. I remember coming around a headland and parking up behind this tall sand bank and when I climbed it the miles of pure white sand was breathtaking.

My whole home town has a beach front.
It’s majestic.
The one I went to west of Rome was also something to behold.
Then there’s Malaga Spain
And La Rochelle France


The only one I didn’t particularly like was in Deauville, north of France. But to be fair it was raining when were there so it’s not the beach’s fault

I'm from Iowa, so you might imagine the amount of beaches I've been to is limited. And it was many years. ago. But I remember quite vividly the white, soft, sandy beaches.

Probably Clearwater. The only other beaches I know I've been to were Erie and Sandusky. MAYBE Michigan.

The only beach I've been to is Galveston, TX. It's not actually considered beautiful but I sure had a lot of fun the 6 or 7 times I've been there.

I've been to so many I can't remember. Meads Bay on Anguilla, Trunk Bay on St. John's, Poipu Beach, Kauai, and pretty much any beach on Great Exuma.
