Sunday more people are off in terms of meeting up. No parties Sunday night... maybe brunch or afternoon cook out etc

Saturday many people are off in terms of meeting up & is the day you most likely find parties.

Friday few people are off but you can take care of official stuff & meet up in evening. Parties possible at night.

Thursday no 1 is off. Recreational stuff won’t be crowded like weekends. No parties but I don’t
really 💜🎈So does it matter 🤷‍♀️

At my former job, we technically worked half days and got off at 1:00 on Fridays. That meant that you only had to spend 5 vacation hours to take Friday off.
And you're right, you can get things done on a Friday that you can't on a weekend.

There are several national holidays that are celebrated on Monday.
So I would always schedule to take vacation on the preceding Friday so that I could have a four day weekend.

Friday you can get stuff done and party but Saturday you can party Friday night AND Saturday night but you lose the business hours of Friday to get errands done. I’d prob pick Friday. Bc like I said parties usfally suck lol and anyone I want to see I guess we’d make an effort to do that. 🤷‍♀️

It was 9 hours, 8:00-5:00, on Mon-Thurs (with a paid hour for lunch and two 15 min breaks). So Friday was 8:00-1:00. I really liked it. Plus, I worked in the field most of the time, so if I got everything done, I could take time off anytime and no one would be the wiser.

It won't really matter if you get one day off whichever you pick becomes Sunday technically.

After all we measure our days based on how far they are from our day off so we hate mondays for being the furthest but if Monday was off then we would hate Tuesday for the same reasons

Right except like in my case, most of the country has weekends off so certain things have less hours or no hours as well as if you consider meeting up with other people. The day won’t matter as an individual person true, but in relation to other people and functioning business it will be significant.

My father works Sundays and takes Tuesday off. Since everything is open on Tuesday he gets a lot of stuff done

I work for the federal government for the Department of National Defense and we had a party when weekend it was all the Harley Riders and bikers and Monday morning all the bosses got together because so many people phoned in sick and then they noticed that it was everyone that rode a Harley wasn't at work that day lol and that was over 100 people actually we were still at the party partying. And we all got letters on our file.
