Since 2005 (the start of the new Lira), I've vacationed in Turkey several times. There is a lot of history, which I was aware of. What I didn't suspect was how good the food was! It's also a great place for shopping: I wear mostly Turkish shoes and belts, and always carry a Turkish-made wallet.

Turkey is filled with friendly people and pretty girls. I don't think I will find time to visit this year, but hopefully in 2013.
