When you’re traveling, do you prefer to plan every moment ahead of time or explore when you arrive at your destination?

I plan big stops like a well-known attraction or a major city, but otherwise I tend to freelance.
I pay close attention to information from the locals: if a dozen people who live in that city (or country) say that the place you want to visit is a big waste of time or overpriced, you can count on it.
On the flip side, I was having lunch at a Hardees in Bowling Green, Kentucky, when I was told that I was just two blocks away from the National Corvette Museum. The museum wasn't on my list, but it turned out to be a great visit.
I stay as flexible with my travel itinerary as possible.
I wouldn’t be able to pass up the National Corvette Museum either!!
I always plan to get the most out of my trip. At the same time, I don't plan too "tightly" and always make sure to leave room for flexibility.
Going in blind is often a big risk because depending on where you go, you will increase the risk of missing out on visiting interesting sites, and it will increase the risk of complications (which in turn increases stress. And that will defeat the entire purpose of a vacation). My best travels have always been the ones that I researched and planned thoroughly.
Most is spontaneous and exploring in general, but there are things that is best to book ahead, like some museums, shows and other experiences. So before I travel I normally look if something special is going on which I want to book, and I make a list of must sees and other possible activities, and mostly just make loose plans during the stay for the day/next day according to the weather and energy level :D
I usually have a destination planned but I hate planning every moment, there is always things I didn't know about, like whoa want to check it out.
For this reason I hate even reserving rooms or campgrounds in advance too, cause then I'm rushing to get there, even if I see things I'd like to check out but feel that I can't because I need to make it so far that day.

I like to plan a few things leaving time to explore. I'm not big on guided tours because I may want to spend more time exploring one thing than another. Sometimes the guides seem to rush through especially if it's a large group so I rather spend my own time exploring how I like
Same! We took one guided part during our visit to Alcatraz but that was really cool to hear the stories!
I prefer to mostly explore and improvise but my wife and friends are the complete opposite. They fill the schedule from morning until late at night. When it's so meticulously planned out, it doesn't feel like an adventure to me so much as a tour.
If I did it my way, I'd improvise 90% of the vacation just wandering around and trying everything that looks interesting. I also prefer to hang out with the locals rather than like the official tour guide and resort types of places.
I don't want to spend my vacations with tourists, so to speak.
I like a little of both. I’m not great at talking to locals but it would be fun in this experience! I don’t want to be around tourists too much but it’s bound to happen a bit on this trip.
I tend to like talking to the locals a lot, even if I barely speak the language. It's fun to try and usually I can find at least one who might speak a bit of English, for example. Then they tend to suggest cool places to go.
I tend to make an OCD itinerary for the trip. Then just wing it some days and do something random.
Greatly depends where travelling, I like surprises and random side of things
I know I will be OCD with my packing. With adventures I’d like to do a little planning but save a lot of exploration time.
I like to do both. I have not been anyplace since the pandemic so I almost cannot rememeber what travelling is like.
This is my first trip since the pandemic. We are planning a little of both.
I have a general plan but leave enough wiggle room for random stops and wandering.
That’s pretty much what I have so far. I like time for wandering!
I plan the destination with a TENTATIVE schedule.
Part of the fun of exploration is the serendipity.
Yes! Serendipity is an excellent way to describe it.
I don't plan my journey ofcourse I have a minimum plan as to where I will be heading and when I will be back but nothing in the middle I have also slept in a bus stand kind of a guy so I travel just like life you never know whate around the corner
A little of both. Anything that involves spending money requires planning ahead of time. Anything involving going into wilderness requires planning in case something goes wrong. Beyond that I believe it is best to explore without excessive planning.
I'm a firm believer in having a general game plan on trips. There's no need to plan every minute of a trip, but I do like to have few different activities planned ahead of time and keep the rest of the trip relatively unstructured.
I might plan one or two highlights, other than that I like to wing it
We have a short list of highlights and then a giant list of things that sounded interesting as possibilities. I like the idea of winging it too. Do you set a budget for your “winging it” days?
Nah I just prefer not too look lol
It's good to do some advance research to see what's interesting to do, maybe pick a couple things you definitely want to see, and then play the rest by ear, without a definite plan.
Video myself masturbating. I was riding a very large dildo. My boyfriend enjoyed. One time I was away visiting my sister for a weekend and I came back and caught my boyfriend masturbating to porn. When I looked at the tablet it was thd Video I sent him a few months before. I was chuffed. So cast it to the big 50 inch TV in the living room and sucked him off while he watched me cumming as a reward.
Depends on the trip. Some I go into with a plan for each day, others I just show up and see what happens. The ones with less planning are usually less stressful I've found, as you don't feel like you're in a time crunch.
Not planning is definitely deciding to go on an adventure. 😂
I like to have a rough idea of what I wanna do, then I just do it and let things unfold from there.
A little bit of those. I usually end up discovering some cool things when I arrive that I didn't know ahead of time. I certainly don't plan where I'll be shopping and eating.
Usually wing it with some planning but like to explore
Obviously you have to make some type of a plan but I do prefer let nature take it’s course
I dispise traveling lmao
