1) Turkey (the Euros are already screaming that Turkey that is not part of Europe).

2) Italy.

3) Austria.

What makes Europe better than the USA? Much better public transport, including trains (I love trains) and comfortable buses (coaches).

Why do you love Turkey?

Great food, great beaches, history everywhere you look, friendly people (except for carpet salesmen), great shopping for shoes, boots, belts and wallets, and clothing, and an amazing bus system with comfortable coaches which can move around the county at low cost. Right now, the Turkish economy is in big trouble, which means it is inexpensive to visit. That's sad for the Turks but great for tourist. I've been to Turkey 8 times since 2005 and I enjoy myself.
