Just outside the city, it's perfect for me, quieter but still nearby to all the shops and places to visit.

My nearest city, st David's is one of the smallest in the world with around 2000 residents. I live within a hours drive out in the countryside. Generally I consider everything within a hours drive to be home turf.

I live outside the city. I do not even work there anymore. I am glad to be done with the place. It is a cesspool. I might go in once or twice a year to a ball game or concert but that is the extent of it.
