I love living in a city; it’s lively.

I grew up and lived in nice parts of Los Angeles. There were/are lots of things to do. But when I was 46, my wife and I moved to a lovely, safe, quiet rural area in northern California. We are 20 minutes from dynamic small cities and fairgrounds, and an hour from really large cities.
I am very, very happy here with my own well, fruit trees, veggie gardens, great roads with little traffic, goods and services such as gas, minimart, post office, and a good mechanic within 5 minutes. Great fire service. Nearby lakes and a river a mile away.

I would rather visit cities than live in one.

I prefer the city but it isn't practical to actually live there. The laws are totalitarian, the taxes are basically theft. I visit the city when I can but prefer to live in rural arias.

Yes, I live in the metropolitan. But my dream is just live in the village, gardening, planting veggies and raising chickens 😂 But the problem is i never even touch a live chicken.

Much prefer rural or completely off grid environments. I really tend to hate cities. There are some conveniences to living in a city, but they aren't worth it to live there in my opinion.

I grew up in NYC. Couldn't wait to get out. The only thing I miss is the food. You can get anything, any time of day or night. After that, you can keep it.
