What are you daily driving this summer? And why did you choose it?

The current daily driver: 1969 Camaro RS

In my peoples' culture, you have made it when you have that beautiful classic car taking up half the garage under a cover, and dust it off for a car show a few times a year.
But I can't just leave it sitting there like it had for the last 30 years before I scooped it up. So I just go ahead and drive it to work, grocery store runs, weekend road trips up to my hometown with the dogs in the back, and yeah a few cruise nights and get togethers. I draw the line at rainy days... no need to rust out 50+ year old original sheet metal. I have the (fiberglass) corvette for that :)

Yeah, little much for commuting around the city. The fuel bill is more than my freaking rent

That does sting a bit lately. It was raining yesterday, so I drove the vette to work, and I stopped and filled it qith $90.57 worth of the regular 87 octane unleaded.
