I consider myself to be an EXEMPLARY driver. Like I wish I wrote the manual on “How to drive”, lmao. You wouldn’t like me if you’re into breaking the rules of the road, not that I actively stop anyone from anything, but when I’m on the highway and the limit is 65, I’m going 65, cruise control, and if I happen to need to pass a slower vehicle, I will use the left lane only for it’s intended purpose of passing, and I will continue at 65, unless I require a slight boost in speed to overtake the vehicle. If you’re coming up on me going 90, don’t be mad, that’s on you, you’re not supposed to be going 90. 65 means 65, period (obviously give or take an mph or two to account for imprecision on the gas pedal). And I return to the right lane ASAP anyway, so it’s not like I’m holding up traffic for a significant amount of time, so miss me by a mile with your middle fingers and dirty looks. I’m right, you’re wrong, annnnndddddd WE’RE DONE HERE.
I’d say the best aspect of my driving abilities is my defensiveness. I am an INCREDIBLE defensive driver. I leave a ton of space between me and the next car, I’m constantly watching for brake lights, not only of the next car up, but the next 2, 3, 4 cars, waiting for the early cue of a slow-down.
I pay special attention to trucks. I’m sure truck drivers love me. I worked with them at my last job, and I’ve talked extensively with them about pet peeves, and just things they wish other drivers understood and respected. When they’re pulled over, I switch out of the far right lane to give them space. When I’m in a middle lane and a truck is just ahead of me in the right lane, I know to either speed up and pass them, or drop further back, don’t just hang out alongside of them. If I see a second truck (or any disabled vehicle) on the side of the road, I let up, give space so the truck that’s still driving can switch to a middle lane. I do that for all cars, actually. Oh, and when you pass them on an incline, give plenty of room before you pull back in front of them, because they have so much weight in their trailer that it doesn’t stop with ease. Truckers are always giving me the flashing brake lights as a “thank you” gesture, I’m a good friend to them on the road and try to make their ride as easy as possible.
But yeah, overall…. super safe driver. If you don’t like my driving, it’s because you’re impatient and likely are a bad driver. I try to follow the rules to the letter (for both safety and police aversion, lmao), and that’s pretty much that. It’s honestly so much easier to drive like that than to be bombing around. Cruise control does most of the work for me👍

Technically yes, I stay in my lane, I can read signs, I signal... etc. but I am an aggressive driver. I usually go 10 over the speed limit and I am very impatient with drivers that alter the flow of the road. (if everyone is in a lane doing 45 I am really impatient with the one car who wants to go 38. If a 2 lane road is clear for a mile and there are only 2 cars in front of everyone and they choose to each take one of the lanes and they drive side by side, forming a clot, I get very annoyed and will shoot past them at the first sign of a crack).
I like the technical side of things. So driving/riding is an art I’m always fine-tuning to perfection.
I'm pretty decent. Never had a ticket or been pulled over

Well, I don't have my driver's license but I can watch a quick 5 minute video. that will probably teach me enough, right?
I am okay
You will be safe with me behind the wheel. But you can take over to reverse park on the street 😑Nope not bad, not good. Just ok. Maybe you can teach me one day, baby driver
For someone who's never owned a car and doesn't want to spend $1,000 a month on insurance and gas to upkeep one, sure. I still got a driver's license after wasting $600 on driving school.
I have never been in an accident, so I think I do alright.
Yes, I have driven hundreds of thousands of miles in a city that has the reputation of being the one of the most dangerous cities to drive in and I have only had one accident.
Very. And, I'm a good driving teacher. Two boys down; two more kids to go.
