I'm thinking about getting an RV since house prices are high and so is rent. Do you think an RV is a good idea?

Yes and no. parking could be a problem and it's not free if you want somewhere "permanent." And it may seem cheaper but girl... with these gas prices, it's not ideal. You might be better off finding place or renting a house with a few trustworthy friends.

Not unless you're buying a cheap one. RV's today can run easily into the 6 figure range. Also you gotta park that RV somewhere. And unless you live in WASHINGTON, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, or Florida. You'll have to do it on private property or an RVpark and that'll cost ya.

It depends on what state you live in. Some states you can buy property and then purchase a new mobile home to place there, which is just as good as the new homes, but it would cost you much less. And you would have a permanent residence.

Where are you planning on parking it? The monthly rent for a space in a trailer park with electric, water, and sewage (plus showers) may be less than an apartment, but it won't be cheap.

You will still have to find a place to park it and a hookup for water, sewage and electricity. An RV does not increase in value
