I've visited Turkey 8 times. I would love to go back, but I'm not getting any younger. I need to cover new ground and stop making repeat visits to the same places over and over. Even so, just thinking about the friendly people, the amazing food, and the shopping (I need more leather shoes, wallets, and belts), makes me want to return.

  Northern Syria is not Turkey, it is Syria. And ever since the Kurds helped to defeat IS/Daesh, the region has been peaceful. Turkey attacking them will achieve nothing but more chaos, deaths and refugees.

  In border agreements, if there is a terrorist organization around 50 km from the border, it can be cleared. Turkey made this move because it sees danger, these foreign powers are not of interest because foreign powers want to make a geopolitical move on Turkey. Turkey's territory is important in terms of geography. Nobody can question the decision Turkey has taken
