Right now, with the market hot and building materials in short supply- the price of plywood has skyrocketed, you may not make enough of a profit to cover your costs.

Renovations can cost 1/4th the price of the house but if it’s in good condition and your renovations are purely ascetic cause the house has no structural damage or wear and tear issues, than you could make a profit on it.

I don't know if it's profitable but a lot of people do it, so I'd think so, but it is just my guess

I know people that have ried this. It is not like you see on TV. /The only way you can make money is if you do the work yourself. If you hire tradesman to do the work you will lose money.

Sometimes. I knew someone who renovated a house that he was able to buy cheap but wasn’t able to sell the house. He had to live inside of it. He put too much money into it.

It can be but mostly you'd break even or lose money. I did remodeling for a number of years. You never know what you will find once you start tearing into a house.
