How bad is the heat and humidity in Louisiana this time of year?

Probably similar to MS. Its hot maaaane. Its not like Vegas heat where you feel the dew falling on you constantly causeing a little sweat here and there. Down here is dryass heat where you can hardly breathe and wanna cough up dirt like you’ve been buried alive. Thats why i stay indoors wherever i go. I can't even shop outside. I can't even watch a baseball game outside. I need indoor seats lmao

make sure that you will have Air Conditioning wherever you stay, and whatever you drive

because the sweating will be constant and instantly... if there is no AC

Any of the Gulf Coast states are brutal this time of year, including Florida, where I live. The old adage that "It's not the heat, it's the humidity" is true.

Maintain a slow to moderate pace, stay hydrated, and wear loose fitting clothes. This is the time of year that I prefer sandles to shoes.

I live in Louisiana and it's consistently been higher than 95 farenheit every day. I would prepare yourself mentally for it lmao

Oh, I have been so I know it will be unpleasant. I was more trying to see how much humidity played into it. Like if I walk outside will I be drenched instantly and have an ocean of ball sweat kind of bad.

Oh yeah the humidity makes it feel way more ass than usual. I guess how bad it is depends on where you're gonna be in Louisiana. Baton Rouge/New Orleans area is always pretty humid, but if you're in north or even central Louisiana it's not that bad most of the time
