at 5x, after living in same place decades and in one state all my life... not married... I moved to a state I knew nothing of, bought house with girlfriend and got married not much longer after. yeahaa!! Dang it was a lot to take on but I did it. I liked where I lived, knew a lot of neighbors... but it was stale for me and I was ready for change. Sound familiar?
Not saying you have to do all that, but it is VERY refreshing. It's exhausting, traumatizing, scary, and everything else. Just going through the decades of clutter to dispose of was a lot of work, old parts I'll never use. I'm still donating and going through boxes, but it's really good to let go of the past and I encourage it. That's what it is... the past!
I love where I'm at now, and consider myself so lucky. I had no concept of this new place, bought with just one visit after we made the offer... it's a tough market. It worked out fine.
If you are running away, then no. If you are going out adventuring to what's new... then a big YES!
I could add more to the change... cultures, good. You'll find new challenges which is good. You've done the old crap, go find someone elses old crap so it's yours and new and fresh. haha!
Maybe you also need an Asian girlfriend... not yet, when it's time... [hhahhhaaaa... crazy Joker laugh...]
Go do it!

I did at 25. I didn't own a home at the time but I just said fuck it and quit my job and moved to another state with 200 dollars in my pocket. I had to pawn everything I had of value just to survive the first month. It worked out but I would't do it again.
Well, I didn't have a house to sell, but I did move across the country on something little more than a whim. Actually, I needed to get away and made a decision rather quickly that I needed to move.
yes, best thing I ever did as I met my new wife, made lots of money contracting and travelled the world. I moved countries as well.
