If you could go to any country on the planet without having to worry about your safety what country would you go to?

So let’s say you don’t have to worry about food or water or anything like that you’re safe 100% you can’t be kidnapped or anything like that completely safe doesn’t matter what happens.


Where would you go now keep in mind this is to learn about the country and you’re learning from the locals what country would you go to?

I cannot stress this enough this is not a vacation you’re not gonna party or anything like that you’re just going to the country learning about it through the locals and staying in what the locals would call a normal inn.

Would very much like to check out the Middle East in a meaningful way., however, my Business related trips to Oman and Qatar convinced me that it is not good idea.

I saw that "safe" but you do not know Islam the way I do. "Nicey" one week then bombs under cars that require a 50 foot apparatus with mirror on it to check underneath before going to shopping center/mall. Bombs in airport and this is just SE Asia in countries full of Buddhists. Like what are they going to do to anyone "meditate them to death"...

That's actually very true. You can't trust those people. One day they will be sharing a meal with you, the next day they will point a gun at your head.
I've had the opportunity to talk to many Muslims over the years, and almost 100% of the time it's the same story. They'll be really cool until you start criticizing their religion and history. Yeah, I don't trust them, even the ones who don't wear hijab. There's only one Muslim girl I trust, and I've had fights even with her.

I'm glad you mentioned Oman. There is one guy on here who has a love affair with that country, and they claim to be tolerant, but they are far from it. I heard you can literally get jailed for simply looking at someone the wrong way. I used to be interested in the Middle East, but now the only countries I would visit in the region are Turkey, Israel, Lebanon, Syria (the Christian areas), Jordan and Iran if there was a regime change. Egypt and the Gulf States should be avoided like the plague. They are the most intolerant and backwards, except maybe Bahrain, but there is nothing there.

I've noticed that the ones that were ruled by the French are more Westernized than the ones that were ruled by the British.

Probably the number one country that I'd love to visit, but can't because of safety issues is Venezuela, so I will go with that one.

They are a country with a long history and have been in the middle of so many historical events

I would go to all the places on this planet and I am not concerned about my safety coz I am Asian. And people usually target americans or Europeans
