What does train travel mean here. Because if your talking about fancy old trains and getting on a trains for no reason other than the trip for sure nope.
If you mean just a normal train well sure because I prefer them over a coach, they have tables and they run later if you want to go to a gig in a different city train will be how you get back since coaches don't run that late then trains are relaxing when quite. No traffic from other cars and etc helps.
The worst part is just they cost more. If train return tickets were just a tenner I would be down to my bestfriend's all the time since he's in a different city. And gigs would be cheaper.

Yeah. I've never tried a sleeper train though, but trains are fun. You get to sit back and enjoy the scenery and don't have to worry about getting stuck in traffic. I think trains are my favorite mode of transport

  Maybe some day. When I travel abroad, I usually focus on one region, so I never travel far enough to require a sleeper train.
