All African countries are poor, the least poor is Mauritius, the only African country that was rich is Libya, which was rich until 1999.

Countries grow up and down every quarter of the year.

Mauritius is definitely number 1. South Africa is about half and half. It would be a developed country if the blacks had never been allowed political power. And I think Botswana and Namibia are fairly well off by African standards, though Namibia is starting to make the same mistakes South Africa and Zimbabwe made. I guess Seychelles, though they have a drug problem. The northern part of Algeria is also very modern and developed and Morocco and Tunisia have potential. And if you wanna get technical, there are also Reunion, Mayotte and the Canary Islands.

Turkey is far more developed than Morocco and Serbia is definitely far more developed than Morocco.
I think Morocco is more on par with countries like Mexico and Peru. Or even parts of the American Southwest
