Where do you go for vacation?

Personally I won’t disclose where I like to go but anywhere with water and a LOT of restaurants is where I’ll be 🤣

I like variety, and I've been to the majority of places I see other people have named on here with a few exceptions like NZ, AUS, and Scandinavia.

I have been all over the US, and enjoy it. I've also done a lot of international travel and tend to go to "third world" countries where my money goes farther. I also tend to stick closer to the equator as I like warmer weather when traveling as it means I don't have to pack as much gear to stay warm. I can travel light. It's hard to pick a favorite though, because each place has something unique to offer. I have a hard time especially when they are so different. It's like comparing lasagna to blueberry cheesecake. Both good, in different ways.

Some of the places I've returned to more often: Brazil, Mexico, Thailand, Vietnam.

Some places I really enjoyed but probably won't go back as I feel I had a full experience already: Egypt, Jamaica, Maldives, Cambodia. Though funny, even as I write that, I think dang I probably would go back to the first three because there is a lot of good scuba diving there, and Cambodia really wasn't bad and I wouldn't mind to revisit it.

I'm in California.
I've had amazing vacations in Mexico, Germany, France, England and Ireland. I love Hawaii. I've had the greatest time in New England in the fall, and also in the Washington DC and Virginia area. I've actually traveled to lots of places in the U. S. It's an amazing country.
But California has every kind of topography from the best beaches and coasts, to deserts, mountains, lakes, rivers, redwood forests, Giant Sequoias, Yosemite, big cities, small towns, resorts, attractions, amazing restaurants. It has the best weather and every kind of activity. You name it.

My next vacay will likely be British Columbia. I want to spend a week in the mountains and then head to the coast and Vancouver Island for some excursions. Plan on taking a whale watching tour and hopefully see some Orcas. Get some sea kayaking in and possibly go for a dive.

Asheville North Carolina they have a lot of restaurants I call them restaurant city along with Orlando Florida. They have a lot of restaurants but I live in Miami Florida so I got plenty of water around here but I love the freshwater streams in Asheville North Carolina to swim in them. I love white water rafting

It changes. I’d like to see as much of the work as I can before I die. Which who knows when that’ll be. One year we took a road trip from the west coast to the east coast, up to NY down along the coast to South Carolina, then along the lower part of the US back home. Was a fun trip. I’m hoping to take a trip up along the west coast soon.

Many places. I've been to crowded cities, and desolate wilderness. Tall mountains, and deep oceans. I've seen erupting volcanos and calving glaciers.  The world is a big wonderful place

We do day trips to different parts Rhode Island & Maine. We don't really do vacations at my house, day trips mainly. But we did go to DC for the week a few weeks ago, that was a fun Vacation.
