If you paid for an Extreme Tourism trip, would you still go?

Like going on a tour to the Titanic, in a submersible to see the ocean, or a rocket to go into space. You can't get your money back, it's go or no go. There's bigger risks where there is lack of regulation, but most tours go ok.

As an alternate, it seems better to send a robot into the dangerous places linked to 3D glasses you can view as if you were there. That be much safer. You gotta invent that... make big $$$,$$$,$$$

Hell no my anxiety would never let me, plus going to the bottom of the ocean to see a piece of metal doesn’t seem worth it at all. 13,000 ft is extreme and I think the people that boarded really didn’t think through how far off land they would be because they weren’t going to the top of anything. They would think going 13,000 Ft up is extreme though

good call! It makes me wonder about a lot of these "adventure" tours, like scuba and any submersible, climbs up mountains. People come up with all kinds crazy stuff. I was once offered to race a hovercraft over the water. I asked "how do I get out of it if I crash"? He said... you don't! lol... it's an easy no:)!

I certainly would consider most seriously taking a trip up to the International Space Station.

As for anything underwater... Forget it... Period.

Depends if it was my job to study shipwrecks and the ocean i would only go if i knew the the submersible is safe and has an emergency radar and beacon. I would never go on a submersible that is experimental and ran by a PlayStation controller that sounds like disaster waiting to happen to me.

The only consolation is that the CEO went with them, and nature gave him the death penalty for cutting corners. Saves a lot of us the headaches of jailing or suing anyone.

I took a big enough risk driving to Evansville for a photography trip. But this? This is insane.
