I live a little over an hour from ocean beaches (won't find those in Colorado), less than two hours from great skiing on Mt Hood, and on the Columbia Gorge with some of the most picturesque scenery on both sides (including historic Multnomah Falls) and miles and miles of wonderful hiking trails. Oregon also has many wineries.
