Which state do YOU find more beautiful?

I’m going with Alaska. Those glacier mountains are breathtaking.

I can't say for certain; I've never been to Alaska- but I HAVE been to Hawaii, and that's why I know that that matters. The cliffs of the Na'Pali coast are nothing short of breathtaking- 4,000 foot stone walls rising straight out of the Pacific- but looking at pictures doesn't convey the grandeur or majesty AT ALL.

Hawaii has become too touristy. Alaska is still mostly pristine nature.

i grew up in fairbanks. Yeah it can be pretty……….. but most of the time its gross

I've been to both and I can't decide honestly. They both have a different kind of beauty. Not sure what you mean by "gross", but I spent a week in Juneau, and I was shocked by the amount of tweakers, drunks and LGBT stuff. I heard about crime and drugs in some of the larger towns like Anchorage and Fairbanks, but I never expected it in a tourist town like Juneau. I know a guy who lived in Juneau for a while, and he said he was more scared of the people than he was of the bears.

Hawaii can be "gross" too like King said, but I've been to three different islands on Hawaii and didn't see the kind of stuff I saw in Juneau.
