I'd go back to the `60's and scoop up all the incredible psych records that I never knew existed until a few years ago. I'd probably also go to Woodstock.
I'd go back to at least 10 years ago and get mom to make DAMN SURE I couldn't POSSIBLY lose the house, thanks to those two greedy cunts, my ex-sisters!! I'd also go back at least 18 years to before dad died and cure his cancer, which I didn't learn how to do until just AFTER he died of it.
I might go back to the early `90's and relive my best years with my future ex-fiance. And maybe get my band to stop fucking around and get a GOOD bass player and get all of our stuff recorded rather than just a few songs here and there. Maybe back to the mid `80's and see if I could actually win over Jennifer Marcin, this time. Maybe the late `70's and tell Amy Wrightmeyer that it was probably Norbert Carr that was making those obscene phone calls she was getting.

Time travel as people conceive it is not possible since until now, no time machine has ever been invented.

Furthermore, you could only go as far back as the to the day when the machine was invented and not further back since... it did not exist yet.

No, I would not time travel as it would be too painful to watch all those people dying in war and other human atrocities. You could do something about it but you cannot since any intervention would change the course of time and you could possibly even manipulate time in such a way that you would not be born.

Thus, time travel is way too dangerous, even if you could because the touch of one button, one remark or one wrong move and the entire future (our present) may be jeopardized.

@strateguy632 In scientific terms, it is theoretically possible to travel back in time by a small fraction of a second if the right conditions are met. The only problem is that in 2024, nobody has invented a machine that can travel near the speed of light and for humans to sustain this kind of acceleration and length of time necessary to achieve a time travel of a few seconds.

Einstein's special theory of relativity does apply to time travel as it is asked in this question.
