Love it. I live in Falls Church - a DC suburb - and moved here from Michigan in 1988. Over time I have gradually gotten to know Virginia - including Skyline Drive and Virginia Beach - and I absolutely love them.
Closer to home is Old Town Alexandria. It is the commercial area of Alexandria and they have retained the colonial vintage architecture. Superb atmosphere and even better bars, restaurants and stores. I especially recommend Il Porto, a superb Italian restaurant.
The DC suburbs - where I live - are a bit crowded and traffic, even with the Metro system, can be a bit rough. Still, taken together, it is a great area to live and a great state.
It’s ok. Virginians have an interesting accent. Driving through, the landscape is pretty plain.
I had a motel in Alexandria while visiting DC, so it is a good location for that. I’ve driven through the state multiple times and I am just waiting to get out, though. It seems to take forever lol
I found out recently it’s the only stare that had boobs on its flag. So, that’s something.

Virginia has lots of interesting attractions/places to see/visit.
I've only traveled through Virginia but I would definitely love to visit it. I particularly would love to visit Virginia Beach. I've heard nothing but good things about Virginia Beach.
I have some family in Virginia, but I've never been there. I wouldn't mind visiting someday. 🙂
I do not feel any type of way toward Virginia. I wouldn’t visit either.
Western part of the state closer to being like KY, TN, and WV. Eastern part more educated.
Lots of different scenery.
Lots of fed gov workers.
Naval base
Beaches
I think it was nice when I was there. It's been 30 years when I visited so I wonder how much it changed, if at all
