Where are you from? How much does a house cost where you live?

I iive in the Northeastern US. I live in a pretty average house. It is about 3000 sq feet with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. a Two car garage, full basement and a big family room An acre of land on a nice side street. Zillow lists it at 1.2 million dollars.

Where I used to live if you’re out of the city, depending where you are at, homes run from 10k to over a million. You can get a really nice house in a safe area with a yard and at least 3-4 bedrooms for around 100k-200k. It just wouldn’t be in the city. In the city those 100-200k houses would be around 500k+

Northern England, a reasonable basic semi detached in a non-shit area starts at about 200k at the moment.

South East England. 18 months ago I sold my 3 bed town house for £300k, bought a 3 bed bungalow for £415k. Not sure what it's worth now
