What are the pros and cons of a private Caribbean island?

My husband and I just married, and are spending our honeymoon on a private tropical island in the Caribbean in June. It's our (well mine) first time going to a tropical destination.

I'm from the US Midwest and primarily of Central European descent 🇵🇱🇩🇪🇧🇪, so kinda "light." My hubby is a Spaniard 🇪🇸 now living in the US, and he's olive.

So there's a bungalow where we'll be. Food and drink and extra clothes will be adequate. It'll be mainly the two of us there.

Any pros and cons?

The closest I've had to a private island experience was when I visited the San Blas Islands in Panama. Aside from the cost, surely it would be the isolation, small size and lack of things to do. When I visited these islands, I walked the whole island in 5 minutes, then was completely bored.

I'm thinking it's like Covid lockdowns, so the pros are it's just the two of you and the cons are it's just the two of you. Personally I would do that before marriage though, because it can be quite a revealing experience lol.

pros clean beach and sea, quiet place. cons a long flight but i think it is worth it
