Would you go naked in a hotel hallway?

A few days ago I stayed with my wife for one night in a French "Formula 1" hotel along the French highway system. At check in, we were asked if we wanted a room with a bathroom inside or not. We said yes, we want a bathroom. But ofcourse that means there are also a lot of rooms without it. And for these rooms, there were toilets and showers available along the hallways.

Now the question is: if you sleep naked, and you have to go to the toilet in the middle of the night... Would you just go naked? The chance of being seen is very low anyway. Or would you put something on first?

I would not.

Bumping into someone at night in the hallway with my ‘privates’ exposed for the world to see would be so embarrassing….

I would slip something on or not sleep naked and suffer just in case I have to get up to the hallway.

For what possible reason would I do that? It is not hard to put a towel around you.

communal bathrooms like that are all over Europe and people don't go naked in the hallways
