I had my whole family in China in Xi’an is where we were for New Years. Another time we my wife and I were in the Southern Ocean on a cruise to Antarctica. Try a trip to Antarctica which would run during that time as it is summer there in Jan-Dec from Holland America as they are very safe and reasonable price wise. Get a balcony room as you will use it more on this trip than any other.

I always thing its the absolute worst night to try and organise any form of outing other than a private function together , just so much difficulty moving around , was good when thinks were far simpler.
