I'm getting ready to buy my first bike and I'm stuck between a ktm 390 or a svartpilen 801.

Also anyone who has advice for riding in the cold weather where it snows I'd appreciate it. I've seen people do unbelievable things drilling screws into their tires but how does that compare to kold kutters?

How long do you plan on keeping the bike? If you are planning for this to be an entry bike and upgrade later go with lower cc's. But you'll soon outgrow them to boredom. On the other hand start with too much power and you'll scare yourself into never wanting to ride again. Ride logically and within your comfort zone and you'll be fine.



Never ride in snow. Black ice too. Have the bike hauled in those conditions. It isn't worth the risk. Ever.
