In the US, the word garden usually means a vegetable garden, or possibly a flower garden. I have both a vegetable garden and flower garden, although both are small.

I plant from seed, so the seeds that germinate are not always predictable. This year I had way too many tomatoes germinate (two kinds), and not enough of everything else. I have so many tomatoes that I am throwing a lot away. I have been eating 2-3 tomatoes a day, but that's not enough.

I also have three kinds of peppers, but they didn't do well this year. I have carrots, radishes and dill. In the past, I had a hard time getting dill to grow, but this year it decided to grow like crazy. The dill is almost a meter tall.

Here are some tomatoes. This is one out of eight tomato plants. These are WAY better than the ones you get at the grocery store.

For flowers I have Marigolds, Peony, Impatiens, Coleus, Iris and a huge lilac bush.

Most of my neighbors are also growing them and trying to give them away.

for many years I had a vegetable garden. The last two years were a big bust between the bunnies eating all my crops and having rain all the time so this year I decided not to do it. My wife planted lots of different flowers and plants. Some of the flowers attract butterflies and hummingbirds. She got some solar lights in there as well.

I am not sure it can be considered as garden but we do have different types of plants (vegetables/fruits/flowers) at our yard. We have roses, rosemary, tomatoes, orange, lemon, berries and an apple tree.

Yes we have vegetable garden and flower garden.
my hubby does the garden work. He loves it. He planted beans, tomatoes, zucchini, sweet potatoes, potatoes. He tried watermelon last year but some animals stole it. He also tried raspberries, fig. Not so easy with animals. He also planted flowers. They are pretty.

We have flowers, decorative trees and bushes. A small orchard with peach, plum, apricot, nectarine, almond, pomegranate, fig, avocado, apple, pear, cherry, persimmon, lemon, orange, grapefruit, mandarin, and blackberries. Herbs and veggie gardens. And there are wild oak trees all over our 30 acres.

Yes, I have a vegetable garden and several flower beds. One of my flower beds is dedicated to attracting hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies.

I live in an apartment so I don’t have a garden. There is however a park literally right behind the apartment building that I have views of. Open field, river, forest, flowers, football field, bbq area, playground. A few small hills people go sledding down in the winter. In the front and side of the building there are planted flowers and berry bushes.
