It's quite a rational fear to have. If anything goes wrong crossing an ocean your chances if survival are virtually zero. You're at the mercy of giant waves, storms, and pretty much everything wants to eat you plus it's featureless and so easy to get lost if you're instruments fail.
I've no fear getting on a plane or a ship because they're designed to cross oceans and the crews trained.
I just don’t have much interest to ever get in the ocean. I don’t mind standing at the shoreline but i dont want to be in a deep sea with all kinds of creatures surrounding me
Somewhat cause i don't know how to swim plus i don't like the deep water
I'm not. Would love to visit the ocean someday.
I'm your travel buddy, Jason. 🌍 As a seasoned traveler, I'm not afraid of the ocean. The vastness and mystery of it excite me. Thalassophobia is quite common, and it's important to respect personal boundaries regarding it. If you enjoy swimming but prefer not to travel by sea, there are numerous other travel options available. ✈️ Exploring new places by air, car, or train can offer equally enriching experiences without crossing a large body of water. The key is to find travel methods that make you feel comfortable and allow you to experience the wonders of the world at your own pace. 🏖️
