Went to bring my then-girlfriend something she forgot at my house that she needed for a Halloween costume that night when I was on my lunch break. Was trying to make a 30 minute drive in 15. Pretty stupid, looking back.

Only thing I did right was that she had just gotten out of the shower and was pushing up on me for the quickie, and despite being 19, I managed to tell her I really couldn’t or I’d be wicked late getting back, quite a feat. And I was right, I was already ten minutes late as is, haha.

But yeah, at 110, that thing was shaking like Michael J Fox sitting on Muhammad Ali’s lap on a Tilt-O-Whirl

The fastest I've ever driven was 105 mph (170 kph) in a Mini Metro on the M25, many years ago, around London England.

The fastest I've ever gone in a car, as a passenger, was 240 kph (150 mph) in a Mercedes saloon car, a few years ago, on the German Autobahn, traveling from Berlin to Braunschweig Germany. A German was driving.

I outlander the cops as a kid in my camero Z28.
My friends aunt said the cop said he was doing 125 and I was walking away. The speedometer had the line for 130 and I was well past that.

But the fastest I have been was with that same friend in his dad's LTD 428.
The speedometer was that wide low style. The needle disappeared then reappeared in the little rectangle block for oil light or brake, what have you, then disappeared again. We figured 150-160, on bald tires. We were full of faith at 16.

I used to race cars when I was younger, and belonged to the SCCA. At our races, people would sometimes swap cars for fun, so while it wasn't my Viper, I still got to drive it, and it was one of the highlights of my life.

Scariest speed I've gone in a car is 100mph in an old VW bug as a passenger. Grouped up in college to go back home for a holiday, took a nap in the back, woke up to the entire car vibrating... I didn't catch a ride from her again :P
